2008 Discover the high mountains with your family

The day starts with an early appointment to be driven by a private chauffeur from Martigny to Chamonix. Rocked by the curves, we fall a sleep and daydream a little bit more before standing at the top of the “Aiguille du Midi”.

Our charming and smily guide helps us to get ready and gives us the last security instructions. Special care is brought to the children.

Ready to go! That’s it... we are at the bottom of the Mount Blanc.

The emotion is really deep at the exit of the ice cave. Ones behind the others, fastened with a rope, we start to walk down the snow edge. The view straight to Chamonix is really impressive!

The nature offers us an alpine landscape with ice, crevasses, peaks and hanging glaciers. After about ten turns, we leave the crowd. Our guide shows us a special itinerary less busy.

Two hours of ski later, we find a nice rock to lay the pic-nic table. It is with delight that we taste all the wonderful specialities of cheeses, dried meats, vegetables, fruits, chocolates... with of course, a glass of delicious wine of “Valais”.

After such a lunch, our skies glide smoothly and gently until the train which will bring us back to Chamonix, where our wives are waiting for us (after an afternoon of shopping:)).

Each one having spent the day with pleasure in the way he conceived it, we all meet together for a last drink at the bottom of the mountains of Frison Roche.
