2008 Feel the fresh air in Zermatt

This stay of 3 days in Zermatt was tailor made just for the 7 members of the team of the company Biogen Idec. In the heart of the Alps “valaisannes” it is possible to combine work & leisure in an enchanting area covered all year long with snow.

After a first morning of meetings, it is time to enjoy the slide near the Gornergrat and than taste the fine wine of “Valais” with some local dry meat and cheese.

Thanks to a repairing night of sleep, the team is ready for a new early morning work session. After a few serious hours, the rest of the day is dedicated to the awakening of senses...

Accompanied by professional mountain guides, the whole team take the direction of an ice cave to appreciate a cold lunch. Following this refreshing moment, it is time to put some snowshoes on and having a walk in the powder snow just at the bottom of the most famous mountain of Switzerland, the Matterhorn.

The third day is dedicated to the pleasure of the mountain (joy of mountain sports). From the Gornergrat to the Klein Matterhorn, everybody find the activity he likes accompanied by a mountain guide or a ski instructor.

Full of appetite, the different groups meet and share the emotions of the day in a wooden restaurant of Furi.

Powder and snowy mountains are the menu of the rest of the afternoon.

The eyes full of snow flakes, everybody lands softly in Zermatt and finds the way back either by train or car.

This crowing piece of 3 days emotions enables Biogen Idec to reinforce the teams and to work in a very special and uncommon place.
